We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Cleaning Supervisor to join our Facilities team within a busy hospital environment. This is a key role responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with infection control requirements, and supporting a team of domestic staff to deliver a safe, hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the domestic team across allocated hospital areas.
- Carry out regular cleaning audits, ensuring all standards are met and corrective actions are completed promptly.
- Provide hands‑on supervision, guidance, and support to domestic staff, ensuring consistent service delivery.
- Authorise and manage staff holidays, sickness, and rota adjustments to maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Deliver on‑the‑spot training and refresher sessions to ensure correct cleaning techniques and compliance with infection control procedures.
- Monitor performance, conduct one‑to‑one reviews, and support staff development.
