- Overall responsibility for the efficient operation of the car parks, trolley service & Lost property dept together with working supervision of a customer focused and responsive service team.
Main Duties
- Car Park Ops team
- Conduct daily/weekly equipment and site inspections
- Respond to requests for technical help, such as ticket jams etc
- Provide first line maintenance of all equipment
- Assist all car park users both on the ground and remotely
- Assist all blue badge holders and support PRM
- Ensure all car parks are tidy and well presented, taking action to rectify any issues below standard
- Ensure that all car park equipment & trolleys are
- operational and efficient.
- Ensure adequate provision of trolleys across the site.
- Drive the vehicle to and from the halt to collect passengers
- Security patrol of car parks and record
- Ensure entire site meets health and safety standards and all issues recorded and reported for action
- Proactively ensure entire site is prepared in advance of any weather disruption
- Ensure team is fully trained and competent in emergency orders
- Car Park Control team
- Respond to passenger intercoms
- Remotely assist passengers such as booking activations/lost ticket etc
- Ensure correct procedures for car park system operation are followed
- Direct ops team to any area that requires attention
- Keep issue log etc
- Passenger transfer between terminal and rail halt
- Provide and drive a suitable vehicle to transfer passengers to/from the halt.
- Full vehicle maintenance, insurance and fuelling
