We're looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer - Gas Engineer Bias to join our Hard Services team at HSE Buxton, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a busy and varied site while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas and mechanical systems.
- Role Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across mechanical, electrical and fabric services.
- Undertake fault finding, diagnosis and repair of gas and mechanical systems to ensure continuous service delivery.
- Respond to breakdowns and support the on-call function when required.
- Complete statutory inspections, compliance checks and maintenance activities in line with contractual requirements.
- Carry out plumbing and gas-related tasks, including repairs to toilets, showers, sinks and associated systems, while maintaining high health and safety standards.
- Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role
- Hold Gas/Plumbing trade qualifications or certifications.
- Industry exposure within Science or Research Centres.
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance requirements relating to gas and building services maintenance.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
