What You’ll Do
As a Relief Security Officer, you’ll be the reassuring presence that keeps people, property and assets safe. You’ll adapt quickly to new environments and deliver high-quality service wherever you’re needed.
Operational Excellence
- Follow all site policies and Assignment Instructions (AI’s)
- Adjust to changing site needs and suggest ways to improve service
- Always work within industry guidelines, displaying correct licences
Training & Development
- Complete mandatory training to keep your skills sharp
- Embrace additional learning opportunities to advance your career
- Make use of technology to stay up to date on processes
- Renew your SIA licence 16 weeks before expiry
Security & Safety
- Spot and report Health & Safety risks immediately
- Stay alert to suspicious behaviour or security threats
- Log incidents accurately and follow the correct reporting procedures
- Make required check calls on time
- Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, emergency services and the Mitie Communications Centre
What You’ll Bring
- Previous security experience
- Valid SIA licence (SC clearance a bonus)
- Strong communication skills & attention to detail
- Calm, reliable and able to think clearly under pressure
- Proactive mindset with excellent decision-making
