Role Responsibilities:

  • Undertake legionella risk assessments both manually and electronically to required standards.
  • Ensure all assessment reports and paperwork are completed accurately and returned within agreed timelines.
  • Carry out additional operational tasks to support service delivery and meet contractual commitments.
  • Complete assessments in line with ACOP L8 (4th Edition), HSG274, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01 guidelines.
  • Produce schematic diagrams and maintain accurate compliance evidence through PDA and digital systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience conducting legionella risk assessments within the water treatment industry.
  • Strong understanding of relevant compliance frameworks, including ACOP L8, HSG274, BS8580-1 and HTM 04-01.
  • Strong IT literacy, including use of PDAs, and the ability to draw schematic diagrams.
  • Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points).
