You will be responsible for overseeing the team during service, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- -Supervise and support staff during service
- -Prepare and cook a variety of meals in line with menus and dietary requirements whilst the cook is on leave
- -Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are met
- -Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation
- -Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
- -Train and guide junior team members where required
- -Ensure timely service to customers or service areas
- -Cover in the catering managers absence, place orders, cash reconciliation & stock take.
Previous experience in a supervisory and kitchen role essential
- -Strong knowledge of food safety standards (Level 2/3 Food Hygiene preferred)
- -Ability to lead a team and work under pressure
- -Good communication and organisational skills
