We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of fire and security projects from contract award through to completion. The role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating assigned projects to ensure delivery to the highest professional standards. Working closely with clients, engineering teams, procurement, and subcontractors, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements. You will also provide support and collaboration to fellow Project Managers as required, contributing to overall team performance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive contract reviews for allocated projects to ensure full understanding of scope, risks, and deliverables.
- Deliver projects in line with agreed budgets, maintaining strict financial control and accountability.
- Manage Work in Progress (WIP), forecasts, and project reporting to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Attend client and site meetings as required, acting as a professional representative of the business.
- Coordinate engineering teams and subcontractors to ensure programme adherence and quality standards are met.
- Support the onboarding and development of subcontractors and engineers to strengthen operational capability.
- Ensure timely submission of handover documentation to facilitate accurate and prompt invoicing.
- Carry out site and product audits to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate project records and forecasting through effective database and work bank management.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, including preparation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements, and reporting of accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences.
- Undertake additional duties aligned with your skills and experience as required.
