We're looking for a Legionella Risk Assessor who will carry out high‑quality legionella risk assessments and support operational delivery to ensure full contractual and compliance requirements are met.
Role Responsibilities:
- Undertake legionella risk assessments both manually and electronically to required standards.
- Ensure all assessment reports and paperwork are completed accurately and returned within agreed timelines.
- Carry out additional operational tasks to support service delivery and meet contractual commitments.
- Complete assessments in line with ACOP L8 (4th Edition), HSG274, BS8580‑1:2019 and HTM 04‑01 guidelines.
- Produce schematic diagrams and maintain accurate compliance evidence through PDA and digital systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
- City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven experience conducting legionella risk assessments within the water treatment industry.
- Strong understanding of relevant compliance frameworks, including ACOP L8, HSG274, BS8580‑1 and HTM 04‑01.
- Strong IT literacy, including use of PDAs, and the ability to draw schematic diagrams.
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points).
