Job Overview
The main part of your role will be to assist the Lead engineer on delivering ventilation, ductwork cleaning and other air hygiene services to our customers.
Main Duties
- Carry out kitchen extract system cleaning in accordance with TR19 Grease
- Carry out ventilation system cleaning in accordance with TR19
- Installation of access doors into ventilation system in accordance with DW144
- Carry out inspection of the Fire dampers in accordance with BS9999
- Conduct regular inspections of the physical plant as instructed
- Follow a preventative maintenance program as instructed
- Make recommendations for major repairs to the physical plant
- Maintain personal equipment & chemical stocks inventories
- Ensure that service sheets are submitted prior to leaving site
- Conduct and submit a pre-work risk assessment prior to every job
- Conduct all works as instructed via the schedule
- Follow the method statement at all times
- Ensure that work is conducted safely in line with the RAMS
- Ensure records are maintained
- Comply with site rules, communicate professionally with on‑site contacts ensuring that work methods and results are explained prior to leaving site
- Leave the work area clean and tidy

- Ventilation systems management in accordance with TR19 Grease

- Demonstrate sound work ethics
- Be respectful, possess cultural awareness
- Valid UK Driving License
- Compliant DBS and Security checks that can be customer specific
