We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our projects and facilities management team, supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of works across a secure estate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in commercial, procurement or project support who is looking to develop their career within quantity surveying. You will gain hands‑on exposure to the full project lifecycle, working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

Role Responsibilities
  • Assess tender returns for accuracy, compliance and value for money
  • Prepare and issue tender enquiries
  • Draft and place subcontract orders with clear scope and terms
  • Support development of scopes, activity schedules and pricing templates
  • Assist with monthly cost reporting and forecasting
What we are looking for
  • Experience in a QS, commercial, procurement or project support role (Facilities Management, Construction or MoD experience desirable)
  • Ideally, have experience working with NEC and JCT contracts
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
