We're looking for confident, customer-focused individuals who can combine strong awareness with a warm and approachable attitude. You'll be a visible presence in store, helping customers feel supported while playing an important role in keeping the business safe and secure.

You'll create a welcoming store environment, greeting customers as they start shopping with us, while delivering professional support to both customers and colleagues.

You'll help keep our stores safe and secure. From preventing loss and responding to incidents, to identifying risks and supporting safe ways of working, you'll play a key role in protecting the M&S environment. Being digitally confident is essential. You'll use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body-worn cameras, to support store operations and incident management.

You'll stay calm under pressure. Whether responding to challenging situations or supporting emergency procedures, you'll always act professionally and confidently. Being a team player is crucial. You'll work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations and create a positive environment for everyone. Flexibility is vital. Retail moves fast and every day is different. You'll adapt quickly to changing situations to support the store when needed.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous security experience is preferred
  • A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential
