Location: East Leake Leisure Centre, Lantern Lane, East Leake, Loughborough, Leicestershire, England, LE126QNAs an Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all Leisure Centre users, with particular attention to those participating in exercise classes. You will be expected to follow your training closely, delivering classes in line with established standards and ensuring customer satisfaction. This includes setting up equipment on time and in accordance with your training. You will also play a role in helping to achieve the key objectives of the contract and supporting any ongoing promotions within the Leisure Centre. Your main duties will include working independently to carry out a range of tasks, such as preparing equipment as required, delivering classes as outlined in the aerobic timetable, and maintaining a high level of customer interaction. Additionally, you may be assigned other responsibilities by your line manager and are expected to apply correct
health and safety practices as per your training. While previous experience is desirable, it is not essential. However, you must hold an \’Exercise to Music\’ or equivalent group exercise qualification. Additional qualifications, such as Spin, Aqua, or Pilates, are considered advantageous. Ideal candidates will possess a positive, can-do attitude, demonstrate strong customer service skills, and be effective communicators.
