We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Project Commissioning Engineer to support the successful delivery of fire and security projects across a diverse portfolio. This role involves commissioning both small and large-scale systems, while taking responsibility for planning, coordination, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage commissioning activities to ensure successful and efficient project delivery.
- Liaise with clients and key stakeholders to meet programme deadlines while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Conduct site surveys, installation inspections, and system testing to ensure compliance, performance, and functionality.
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineers, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations across all project activities and sites.
- Maintain accurate commissioning records and produce detailed technical documentation and reports.
- Deliver system training and operational guidance to clients and end-users.
- Manage labour and materials effectively to support timely and cost-efficient project completion.
- Contribute to project meetings and provide technical input across all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Oversee and support engineers and subcontractors, including task allocation and performance management.
- Monitor project performance, supporting profitability and reporting progress to the Project Manager.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and minor works as required to support the wider team.
- Promote and uphold company standards in quality, safety, and environmental compliance at all times.
