Mitie Fire Protection is an established, accredited business within Mitie FS UK Ltd, delivering passive fire protection and fire door installation, remediation, and maintenance across the UK. We're growing – and we're looking for a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team. We will fully support your training and progression!
You'll play a key part in helping us deliver excellence to our clients by managing project costs, supporting commercial decisions, and maintaining strong financial control from tender through to completion.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and reviewing tender documentation, cost plans, and valuations
- Managing applications for payment, variations, and final accounts
- Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management
- Supporting contract negotiations and maintaining strong client relationships
- Ensuring compliance with company processes and third-party accreditations (FIRAS, ASFP, etc.)
- Collaborating closely with Operations and Finance to track project performance

- Experience within passive fire is beneficial but not essential - we can show you the ropes!
- A strong understanding of commercial processes, contracts, and cost management
- Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data and reports
- Strong communication and organisation skills
