The Company Custom Solar – recently acquired by MITIE – is positioned for significant growth using existing workstreams and new opportunities via the MITIE NET Zero division.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mobile delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services across a variety of clients and industries.
  • Undertake maintenance inspections, fault finding, upgrades and installations.
  • Answer client queries, report defects and keep them informed of site activities during service visits.
  • Work with single‑phase and three‑phase commercial rooftop solar PV systems.
  • Complete all work‑related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspection reports and remedial work.

Qualifications

  • Experience within a maintenance / solar PV role.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Level 3 Award, C&G 18th Edition or equivalent are preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.
  • Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces; willingness to work away from home on occasions.
  • Full driving licence.
