Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Qualification
- Preferably hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates (training for a licence may be provided in some circumstances).
- Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history required.
Main Duties
- Deliver industry‑leading customer service
- Deterrence of violence and public order offences
- Conduct patrols of the store
- Utilise CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
- Liaise with store management teams
- Liaise with police and crime partnership to foster a working relationship in support of reducing crime in store
- Wear body‑worn CCTV to support reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
