As a Use of Force Instructor, you\'ll deliver engaging Use of Force training to incoming staff and provide refresher courses to experienced team members according to the Use of Force Manual. This is a UK-wide role with a primary focus on the Oxfordshire region and may require overnight stays.

This is a UK-wide position, with a primary focus on the Oxfordshire region. You\'ll be flexible and willing to travel across the country and may have overnight stays each week.
Your Impact
You will be a core member of our Training Team, embodying Mitie\'s values and professional standards. You\'ll help foster a positive and inclusive workplace by challenging behaviours that don\'t align with our principles. You\'ll deliver dynamic training packages with the National Tactical Response Group (NTRG), tailored to diverse learning styles and neurodiverse needs, to ensure every colleague feels prepared and supported.
Working under the guidance of the Training Manager (UOF) and supporting the Regional Training Manager, you\'ll promote a culture of continuous development within Care & Custody.
About You
- At least 1 year\'s experience thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team.
- Relevant, industry-recognised accreditations and qualifications (such as an Education & Training Level 3 or equivalent) are highly desirable. Previous experience in coaching or teaching is a plus.
- Desirable, but not essential: Prior experience as an instructor for Use of Force, First Aid, or Health & Safety.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and overnight stays as required.
- A minimum of 2 years\' experience in a people-facing role to support effective delivery of communication and de-escalation elements within Use of Force training.
