ROLE: Asbestos Analyst (Tersus)

HOURS: 9.25 hours per day (10 days on, 4 days off)

LOCATION: Thurso

Salary: £53,000 - £61,000

We're looking for an Asbestos Analyst who will conduct a full range of asbestos surveying duties across domestic, commercial and industrial properties while supporting clients with technical advice and accurate reporting.

As this is a site-based role, accommodation will be provided to candidates as well as a fleet vehicle

Interviews are routinely held on Wednesday afternoons; however, we are happy to offer flexibility where needed to support applicants' individual circumstances.

Role Responsibilities

  • Undertake airborne fibre monitoring, fibre counting, 4 Stage Clearances (4SC), and Certificate for Reoccupation activities in accordance with internal General Quality Procedures, and current asbestos regulations
  • Produce accurate and timely reports, compile recommendations, provide technical information to the client, and ensure all reporting is completed to the required standards and timescales
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, contractors, and service providers, including arranging and attending client meetings, audits, and training sessions
  • Support the Site Manager in the preparation and delivery of RAMS, risk assessments, technical documentation, and provide technical advice to ensure health, safety, and compliance requirements are met

Required Qualifications:

  • The BOHS P403 and BOHS P404
  • The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) Level 3 Certificate for Asbestos Air Monitoring Analysts
  • The BOHS Certificate of Competence in Asbestos
  • Full UK driving licence is required
