Responsibilities

  • Protect customer’s property, people, and assets following Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and any changes.
  • Deliver results meeting or exceeding KPIs and Service Level Agreements to aid contract retention.
  • Fully complete all tasks and duties on site as defined in AI’s.
  • Review and suggest amendments to AI’s to improve service level.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and industry legislation (front‑line licence and CCTV PSS SIA Licence).
  • Follow all instructions and procedures without unnecessarily challenging authority.
  • Maintain professional conduct in challenging situations and with customers.
  • Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop knowledge through ongoing professional development.
  • Look out for and report health & safety hazards promptly.
  • Use common sense and initiative to involve others if a situation becomes threatening.
  • Complete accurate, detailed notebook entries after any incident for the incident report process.
  • Ensure check calls are carried out at the allocated time slots as stipulated in the AI’s.
  • Call emergency services and the Communication Centre to report incidents.

Training and Development

  • Fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training.
  • Attend additional training as directed to ensure continuous self‑development.
  • Renew licences 16 weeks before expiry.

Qualifications

  • Previous security experience.
  • Valid SIA licence.
  • SC clearance desirable.
