Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and governance for the delivery of Hard and Soft FM services across the prison site, including mechanical, electrical, life safety, security, specialist, and water system maintenance.
- Oversee PPM generation, completion, reporting, and trend analysis, ensuring compliance with statutory, contractual, and SFG20 maintenance standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance and repair strategies to optimise asset lifecycle performance, with sustainability and continuous improvement at the forefront.
- Manage service delivery teams effectively, ensuring excellent performance, resource planning, budget management, and adherence to operational standards.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including the Client, Prison Leadership Team, contractors, strategic partners, and internal Mitie teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Hard FM service delivery and soft services management, ideally within a prison or secure environment.
- Appropriate Engineering qualification gained through apprenticeship or equivalent building services maintenance training.
- Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH (Essential) or NEBOSH (Desirable).
- Membership of a relevant professional body such as IWFM, CMI, or Tech/CMIOSH.
- Working knowledge of CAFM systems, PPM delivery, SFG20 maintenance schedules, and relevant legislation and industry best practice.
