Shift pattern: 12‑hour shifts – 4 on / 4 off (4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off) – candidate must be able to work both day and night shifts.
Overview: Mitie is looking for a Logistics Security Officer who delivers exceptional customer service while creating a safe environment free of the fear of crime for visitors and colleagues.

Qualifications:
- Current SIA licence or SIA certificates (training for a licence may be provided).
- Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history.
- Reasonable level of PC skills.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver industry‑leading customer service.
- Conduct patrols of the depot.
- Provide a visible security contact for colleagues, contractors and visitors.
- Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
- Liaise with depot management teams.
- Deter theft and poor working practices.
- Conduct searches (details discussed at interview).
- Respond to any on‑site incident or request for assistance and assume control until arrival of the Client, Emergency Services or Depot Duty Manager.
- Highlight all breaches of security procedures, including internal and external crime.
- Support with access and egress to and from the site as required by installed systems.
- Gatehouse duties, including booking in vehicles and supporting transport operations (details discussed at interview).
