Job Overview
Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer who can deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Pay & Shift
Pay rate: £13.23 per hour. Various shifts to be discussed at interview.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current SIA licence or SIA certificates (training available in some circumstances).
- Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history.
- Valid ID and reference checks; failure may result in withdrawal of offer or termination.
Responsibilities
- Deliver industry‑leading customer service.
- Deter violence and public order offences.
- Conduct patrols of the store.
- Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
- Liaise with store management teams.
- Liaise with Police and crime partnerships to foster relationships aimed at reducing in‑store crime.
- Wear body‑worn CCTV to enhance safety for colleagues and customers.
