Mitie are seeking a Supplier Management Team Leader to join our Procurement Centre of Excellence. You’ll be the key driver of the supplier management strategy, driving continuous improvement across processes, tools, and engagement models to ensure alignment with business and customer objectives.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the Supplier Management Programme and Framework, ensuring robust governance and performance tracking.
- Providing training, tools, and guidance to internal teams to support consistent supplier engagement.
- Manage supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Undertake SMP audits.
- Be a driver in the use of AI tools within the Procurement function.
- Line manage a small team.
Qualifications
- We’re looking for a Procurement Professional with deep expertise in Supplier Management and a strong track record in managing complex contracts.
- You’ll be a forward‑thinking leader, skilled in stakeholder engagement and change management, with a proactive and solutions‑focused mindset.
- Experience with SAP, Coupa, and reporting tools is highly desirable.
- A facilities management background would be ideal but not essential.
- Have a large interest in AI and automation within the workplace.
