Responsibilities:
- Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in a patient‑facing role within a relevant clinical setting such as Accident & Emergency, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare or the Ambulance Service.
- Valid driving licence.
- Work in collaboration with the Police to deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites.
- Provide round‑the‑clock coverage in the custody suites as per a client‑agreed schedule.
- Flexibility to work in the base custody suite and across an assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary £20,500 per year.
- £500 bonus when 12 months of service is completed.
- Working patterns: part‑time fixed shifts – day shifts 06:45 to 19:00 and night shifts 18:45 to 07:00, with a 2‑day on, 8‑day off, 2‑night, 4‑day off rota.
- Rolling rota available 2 years in advance.
- Estimated overtime £3,500 per annum.
- NMC/HCPC registration paid.

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN), Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Midwife with dual registration (RMN) – 2 years post‑qualification, Band 5 minimum.
- Paramedic – 2 years post‑qualification.
- British passport, or Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) for at least 3 years, with no gaps of more than 3 months outside the UK.
- All candidates will undergo Police vetting.
