Role: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Luton / St Albans (Mobile)
Responsibilities
- Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments manually and electronically across various sites in accordance with BS8580‑1:2019.
- Produce high‑quality reports, including schematic drawings, using a tablet (admin support provided).
- Provide clear and confident technical advice to clients and internal teams.
- Cross‑train in additional competencies such as Pseudomonas assessment, scald risk assessments, and other water hygiene‑related disciplines.
- Support operational tasks as required to meet contractual commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
- Demonstrable experience assessing domestic water systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Enhanced DBS (preferred; can be arranged if required).
Desirable (Training Provided)
- Experience working within hospitals or healthcare environments (HTM04‑01).
- Experience with process water systems.
- Experience with spa baths in line with HSG 282 guidance.
