We’re looking for a Soft Services Supervisor/Manager who will oversee the day-to-day delivery of cleaning & guest services through a team of cleaners & receptionists, as well as the supervision of subcontractors for sanitary services, pest control and landscaping, at 3 of our client sites on the London Fire Brigade contract.

Type: FTC until March 2027, with potential to become permanent
Hours: 40
Pay: £33,000 to £35,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise and control site operations within agreed budgets and timescales.
- Develop and maintain excellent client relationships with your points of contact.
- Manage, support, and develop your staff to maintain contract standards.
- Control labour and materials expenditure and ensure deliveries within agreed budget limits.
- Recruit, train and develop and manage performance of the site-based cleaning & guest services teams.
- Manage the mobilisation of any new service lines, delegating tasks as appropriate and communicating with all relevant internal departments.
- Carry out frequent quality checks, both random and pre-planned, to ensure service delivery is being met, escalating any issues to the Building Manager.
- Ensure health and safety of all employees and where appropriate the client and/or public.
- Ensure that site documentation and compliance is maintained and correct.
- Ensure all administration is undertaken to provide the company and the client with the information they require to given deadlines.
- Ensure activities integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health & safety, legal requirements, environmental policies, and duty of care.
- Uphold, safeguard, and promote the company’s family values and philosophy relating to ethics, integrity, and corporate social responsibility.
- Ensuring stock counts are completed for your sites, in order to send updates to finance by the end of each month.
- Ensuring the audit tracker across the estate is managed and maintained on a weekly basis.
- Placing orders for uniform, stock, consumables etc for your sites, ensuring goods are received.
- Support ad hoc cleaning requests and/or additional duties as directed by the Building Manager & Account Director.
What We're Looking For:
- Demonstrable track record of operational management or senior supervisory level in soft services/cleaning/fm (essential).
- Good communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Strong team working ethic and flexibility, with the ability to manage resources and cope under pressure.
- Good business development skills & good level and understanding of financial acumen.
- Health & Safety awareness/training.
- IT literate – basic to moderate understanding.
- IOSH Health & Safety qualification desirable.
