Are you currently working in the Custody Environment with 12 months+ experience? Would you like a new career challenge, managing a small team of HCPs within the Custody suites, with a real passion for developing clinical, forensic and wider skills not just in yourself but your wider team?
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of HCPs providing detained individuals with accurate assessments and ensuring their care and wellbeing needs are met.
- Monitor rota gaps and cover as needed.
- Manage the HCPs, ensuring they are supervised and appraised appropriately.
- Work as part of an integrated team with the Clinical Lead and Lead Senior to ensure that local processes follow National Clinical Governance Standards and the Force\’s specific needs.
What can I earn?
- Salary will be discussed at interview.
- Overtime shifts at premium rates can add around £3,500 (based on prior data).
- Refer a friend and receive £500.
Minimum requirements
- You\’ll be a qualified RN Adult, RMN (with dual registration), RGN or Paramedics.
- Minimum of 12 months previous Custody experience; 2 years post-qualification experience in areas such as General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Walk-in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, Mental Health, or Ambulance Service; for an Adult RN.
- 3 years UK residency.
- You\’ll need a current manual driving licence with no restrictions to travel to other custody suites or local hospitals.
- All candidates are subject to police vetting checks.
