Retail Security Officer – M&S
Location: Norwich
Salary: £13.96 per hour
Hours: Guaranteed 40+ hours per week
Responsibilities
- Operate in a fast‑paced retail environment, staying alert, responsive and ready to intervene when necessary.
- Create a welcoming store environment and greet customers while delivering professional support to both customers and colleagues.
- Help protect the M&S environment by preventing loss, responding to incidents, identifying risks and supporting safe ways of working.
- Use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body‑worn cameras, to support operations and incident management.
- Maintain a calm, confident and professional demeanor in all situations.
- Work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations and foster a positive environment for everyone.
- Adapt quickly to changing situations and demonstrate flexibility as retail operations evolve each day.
Requirements
- Previous security experience preferred.
