Job Overview
Provide security services to protect the client’s property, people and/or assets in accordance with the site’s Assignment Instructions (AIs) and any changes.
Deliver results that meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements, ensuring full responsibility and accountability to support contract retention.
Undertake additional training for continuous self‑development.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all policies, legal, regulatory requirements, UK law and guidance bodies.
- Complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published AIs.
- Review and familiarize with AIs, suggest amendments that improve service.
- Hold and display valid front‑line licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA Licence, renewing 16 weeks before expiry.
- Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements.
- Follow instructions and procedures appropriately without unnecessary challenges.
- Work systematically, methodically and orderly.
- Use technology to meet key work objectives and develop job knowledge.
- Identify and report health & safety hazards promptly.
- Stay alert to threats or changes, take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Maintain professional conduct with challenging customers.
- Keep accurate notebook entries after incidents for Incident Report process.
- Adhere to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
- Ensure check calls are carried out on time as per AIs.
- Call emergency services and Communication Centre to report all incidents.
Qualifications
- Previous security experience.
- Valid SIA licence.
- SC clearance desirable.
