We're looking for a Water Technician who will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of water treatment systems, ensuring water safety and full regulatory compliance across customer sites.

Role Responsibilities
  • Complete allocated water hygiene jobs within agreed timescales, following method statements and company procedures.
  • Accurately complete and submit electronic documentation in real time.
  • Maintain high compliance standards, with no more than one audit failure per year.
  • Complete Level 1 water hygiene tasks including:
    • TMV valve servicing (fail‑safe and strip‑down)
    • Cooling tower and tank cleaning (as supporting operative)
    • Tank inspections
    • Temperature monitoring and accurate data recording
    • Domestic system sampling and laboratory submissions
    • Showerhead cleaning, descaling, and flushing of little‑used outlets
  • Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety requirements, safe working practices, and client protocols.
  • Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are safe and fit for purpose.
  • Liaise professionally with client representatives and report key issues to the Field Manager.
  • Complete BSRIA Chemistry and BSRIA Micro Sampling when required.
Required Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of water treatment and water hygiene processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Good literacy, communication, and customer‑service skills.
  • Competent with time management, administration, and use of mobile/tablet applications.
  • Valid UK driving licence and ability to pass DBS/security checks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
