Shift Pattern: Night Shifts

Job Overview: Protect customers’ property, people, and assets by providing security services in accordance with the site’s Assignment Instructions (AI) and any subsequent changes. Deliver results that meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer, taking full responsibility and accountability and providing a service that aids in contract retention. Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self‑development.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure compliance with all policies, legal, and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK law and guidance bodies.
  • Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AI).
  • Proactively review the published Assignment Instructions, familiarise with any changes, and suggest amendments to improve or enhance service levels.
  • Comply with industry and statutory legislation, holding the required front‑line licence in either Security Guarding or Door Supervision, which must be worn at all times.
  • A CCTV PSS SIA Licence is also required, and additional courses may be contractually required.
  • Follow legal obligations and safety requirements, and follow instructions and procedures appropriately without unnecessarily challenging authority.
  • Work in a systematic, orderly manner.

Training Responsibilities:

  • Fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training.
  • Undertake any additional training directed by the Security Account Manager.
  • Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge and expertise through continual professional development.
  • Renew licence 16 weeks before expiry.
