We are looking for an experienced Catering Supervisor to join our retail catering team covering Russells Hall Hospital, Corbett and Guest Hospitals. The main tasks include liaising with the kitchen, handling open/close of business, stock controls, front of house ordering, and being the face of our catering brand at a customer site. The role holder will undertake other duties as required for the effective operation of the site, including cash collection and banking. Flexibility to work at several different outlets onsite is required. A passion for providing excellent customer service is essential.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with the kitchen and manage front-of-house operations.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures and stock controls.
- Manage front-of-house ordering and be the face of the catering brand at customer sites.
- Perform cash collection and banking as part of site operations.
- Be flexible to work at multiple outlets onsite and adapt to changing tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Previous catering experience within a similar environment (supervisory experience preferred).
- Appropriate level of numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team or under own initiative; flexibility to take on different tasks.
- High standards with attention to detail; hard-working, energetic, and confident.
- Food Hygiene and basic Health and Safety certificates are advantageous but not essential; full development and training will be provided.
