We design, install, and maintain life-safety systems for a diverse range of environments, including hotels, restaurants, schools, hospitals, and fast-food outlets. We are currently seeking a Residential Fire Suppression Engineer (Kitchensafe) to join our growing team, supporting installations and servicing operations across London and nationwide sites.
As a Kitchensafe Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of Kitchensafe fire suppression systems, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and maintain Kitchensafe fire suppression systems in line with company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and remedial works to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota, providing prompt and effective out-of-hours support when required.
- Liaise professionally with on-site concierge teams, building management, and clients, maintaining clear communication throughout works.
- Accurately record all work undertaken using the PDA reporting system.
- Travel to sites across the UK as required, with flexibility to stay away from home when necessary.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Background knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems (advantageous but not essential).
- A high level of attention to detail when carrying out installations and servicing activities.
- A structured, methodical approach to work, with strong organisational skills.
- The ability to multi-task effectively and manage workloads to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent customer-facing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Confidence working independently as well as collaboratively within a team, using initiative where appropriate.
- A calm, professional, and composed approach when working under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with engineers, management, and customers.
