Relief Security Officers
Pay Rate: ÂŁ15.19
Core Duties Include
Delivering an effective and professional security service on site.
Working together in a large team of Security Officers and 4 Team Leaders.
Report to the Team Leader on duty and Site Security Manager providing crucial updates and data.
Liaise with a variety of stakeholders including the military.
Complete and maintain regular reporting duties including an effective shift handover.
Patrolling the site via 4Ă—4 vehicles (day and night) and reporting any significant risks or damage.
Supporting Air Traffic Control with incidents on the runway.
Working in a control room environment monitoring CCTV, Intruder, Fire, Panic and building management systems (BMS).
Escorting VIP\’s and government services on and off site at short notice.
Issuing of building keys and hire cars.
Ensuring all duties performed are in line with the Assignment Instructions and GSSOR.
Communicating with Air Traffic Control (ATC) and the Security Control Room using the phonetic alphabet.
Reporting any Health and Safety concerns and observations.
The Successful Applicants Will Need To
Be a UK passport holder
Hold a front-line SIA license (SG, DS or CP)
Hold a UK Driving License (Manual)
Be willing to undertake SC Clearance
Colour perception test will be required
Undertake the signing of the Official Secrets Act 1989
Use Microsoft programmes such as Outlook, Word and Excel
Be available to work days, nights and weekends
Speak fluent English
Be presentable
