Relief Security Officer – Lincoln, Newark & Spalding
Sites include: RAF Scampton, Gousto, National Grid and similar locations
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle
Shifts: Days, nights and weekends – providing holiday cover, sickness cover and short-notice callouts
Your Role: As a Relief Security Officer, you will provide a visible, professional security presence, protecting people, property and assets while delivering excellent customer service across different locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow site policies and Assignment Instructions
- Adapt quickly to new environments and site requirements
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and licensing
- Complete mandatory training and engage in further development
- Identify and report Health & Safety risks
- Monitor for suspicious activity and respond appropriately
- Accurately log incidents and complete reporting procedures
- Conduct scheduled check calls
- Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, emergency services and the Mitie Communications Centre
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous security experience
- Valid SIA licence (SC clearance desirable)
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Calm, reliable and able to work under pressure
- Proactive mindset and sound decision-making skills
