Relief Retail Security Officer role at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services
Overview
Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Pay and shifts
- Pay rate: £12.60
- Various Shifts (to be discussed at interview)
Main duties
- Deliver industry leading customer service
- Deter violence and public order offences
- Conduct patrols of the store
- Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
- Liaise with the store management teams
- Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store
- Wear Body Worn CCTV to support the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
Qualifications and requirements
- It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates (though training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances)
- Vetting: a full 5-year checkable employment/education history is required; failure to provide this could affect offers or employment
