About The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Area Support Manager to provide operational support across a portfolio of sites.

You will work closely with Operations Managers and frontline teams to ensure service delivery, maintain compliance, and provide leadership during periods of absence, mobilisation, or increased operational demand.

The role requires flexibility, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues while maintaining high standards of operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day management of multiple sites across the region.
  • Provide management cover during annual leave, sickness, vacancies, and emergency situations.
  • Conduct regular site visits, audits, and welfare checks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, induction, and training of new colleagues.
  • Ensure all officers comply with company policies, assignment instructions, and legal requirements.
  • Support investigations, disciplinary, grievance, and absence management processes.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Assist with rota planning, resource allocation, and emergency deployment of staff.
  • Carry out quality assurance audits and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Support mobilisation of new contracts and implementation of operational changes.
  • Produce reports and maintain accurate operational records.
  • Respond to customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and ensure Health & Safety compliance.
