Water Technician
At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a Water Services Engineer who will support our clients by delivering high-quality Legionella compliance services across a range of sites.
Location
Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading.
Responsibilities
- Carry out Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, and water system disinfection in line with ACOP L8 and company procedures
- Conduct water sampling, temperature monitoring, and chemical testing across multiple properties, accurately recording results
- Maintain up-to-date and compliant water logbooks and documentation in line with guidelines and company policy
- Test, service, and maintain thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs) and undertake minor plumbing tasks as required
- Perform basic electro/mechanical duties and ensure all works are completed safely and efficiently
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Legionella Monitoring, Water Treatment, or Compliance Servicing
- Full, current UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, with strong communication and organisational abilities
