Cleaning Team Leader
In this role as a Cleaning Team Leader, you will lead a team to deliver high standards of cleaning across designated areas, ensuring all work meets agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and health and safety requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, support, and motivate a cleaning team to achieve high performance
- Ensure all equipment is clean, well‑maintained, and safe to use
- Allocate tasks and monitor standards to meet agreed SLAs
- Ensure correct use of cleaning equipment and chemicals at all times
- Carry out quality checks and address any issues promptly
- Promote and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers
- Deliver excellent customer service and respond to feedback
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive high standards
About You – qualifications and attributes required:
- Good communication skills, including basic English reading and writing
- Previous cleaning experience desirable; supervisory experience an advantage
- Ability to lead a team while also working independently
- Reliable, organised, and able to prioritise workloads
- Positive, professional, and proactive approach
- Flexible and willing to undertake all required training
- Open, honest, and committed to continuous improvement
