Position

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Plumber to work within Dungavel IRC carrying out planned pro‑active maintenance by providing a multi‑skilled service which covers Plumbing, mechanical, and building fabric disciplines. Along with carrying out any modifications and installations as and when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned pro‑active maintenance covering Plumbing, mechanical and building fabric disciplines.
• Carry out modifications and installations as required.
• Work to high levels of health & safety and statutory requirements, take ownership of tools and equipment and maintain them to an appropriate standard.
• Repair and calibrate electrical and mechanical instrumentation.
• Complete documentation as required, including RAMS and adhere to all associated permits.
• Work flexibly across trades, acquiring elements of other skills as needed.
• Be part of the In House Out of Hours On Call Team, on call 7 days over a 4‑week period with allowance included.

Qualifications

• Background working within commercial properties and installations.
• NVQ Level 3 Plumbing qualification.
• Good knowledge of building statutory compliance.
• Full current driving licence.
• IT literate for record keeping.
• Good customer service skills.
