Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator license or certification
- Prior experience in waste management or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Current Counterbalance FLT license
- Good level of English communication skills
- Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions
- Good time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- DBS check and drug/alcohol screening test required prior to starting
Responsibilities
- Join the Waste and Cleaning team to undertake the collection, movement, sorting, processing and dispatch of waste and other materials
- Compaction of waste and cardboard
- Work in compliance with Health and Safety regulations and PPE guidance
- Monitor equipment performance and support the On-Site Waste Coordinator in meeting site objectives
