Mitie is recruiting for an organised and experienced Patient Catering Manager to lead the Patient Catering services at St George's Hospital in Tooting. The role will include close liaison with the client dietetics team and Mitie colleagues.
Working Hours & Location
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Location: St George's University of London Hospital – London
Role Responsibilities
- Oversee the effective and efficient delivery of high-quality patient catering services across the contract
- Maintain strong, positive relationships with clients and ensure expectations are consistently exceeded
- Allocate and plan resources strategically to ensure first-class service delivery
- Recruit, train, develop, and manage team members to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce
- Uphold all company policies, procedures, and contractual requirements
- Meet financial targets with a strong commercial approach, managing both income and cost objectives
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in catering, patient catering, or healthcare is essential
- Level 3 food safety qualification
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience managing large teams
- Experience working with special dietary needs
