Grounds Maintenance/ Gritting Operative in Oxford

Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance/ Gritting Operative to join our team at the UKs market leading FM company. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be delivering Grounds Maintenance and Winter Services and ensuring you deliver the exceptional every day.

Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour

Position Type: Permanent

Type of Employment: Full Time

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire, England OX1 1HS

You Will Be Responsible For

GMO

• Maintaining our clients' sites. Grass cutting, hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearance, litter picking, and spraying.
• Delivering our winter services, including gritting and snow clearance.
• Providing management with relevant information and reporting as required, including reporting any site hazards.
• Operating all vehicles, machinery and equipment in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
• Undertaking training as and when required.

Gritting

• Gritting various sites within your regional area
• Driving a company vehicle with a gritting hopper
• Filling your van with rock salt to distribute
• Completing your duties in a safe and timely manner

What We Are Looking For

• A passion for working outdoors.
• Prepared to work in an agile and flexible working environment (Winter working).
• A good understanding of smartphone technology.
• Grounds Maintenance and Gritting experience
• PA1 & PA6 spraying licence,
• Full driving licence
