We are looking to recruit a Site Security Operation Support Manager to oversee a key client contract in Norwich. The role is flexible with home working and requires site visits one to two times a week. The successful candidate will reside within 30 minutes of the site, work 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, with occasional early/late shifts), and earn £15 per hour.
Job Summary
The Manager will support daily site operations, manage staff, collaborate with the Management Team, and ensure business-related tasks are completed promptly.
Responsibilities
- Ensure employee welfare checks are completed
- Scheduling
- Monitor and deliver training plans
- Conduct return‑to‑work interviews
- Manage any blow‑outs
- Assist in compiling monthly reports and present them to the client
- Assist in recruitment of employees, in conjunction with the Corporate Security Manager
- Conduct disciplinary and sickness investigations
- Conduct and monitor staff appraisals, set objectives, support development, and implement succession plans
- Build, maintain and manage positive relationships
- Act as Duty Manager in the absence of the Operations Manager
Qualifications
- Full driving licence
- Front line SIA licence
- At least 2 years of security industry experience (preferable)
- Financial awareness
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proven problem‑solving experience
- Previous management/supervisory experience
- Good IT and systems knowledge
