Mitie is looking to recruit a Security Operations Support Manager to oversee a key client contract ensuring the delivery of agreed contract objectives and targets. This role is flexible with home working and requires visiting the site one to two times a week. The site location is Norwich. Free parking is available and applicants must live within approximately 30 minutes of the site. Hours are 40 per week, mainly Monday to Friday with occasional late start and finish to visit the site. Pay Rate: £15 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Ensure employee welfare checks are completed
- Scheduling and workforce planning
- Monitor and deliver training plan
- Conduct return‑to‑work interviews
- Manage any blow‑outs
- Help complete monthly report and present to the client
- Assist in recruitment of employees in conjunction with the Corporate Security Manager
- Conduct disciplinary and sickness investigations
- Monitor staff appraisals, set objectives, support development and succession planning
- Build, maintain and manage positive relationships
- Act as Duty Manager in the absence of the Operations Manager
Qualifications
- Full driving licence
- Front line SIA licence
- At least 2 years of security industry experience (preferable)
- Financially aware
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in problem solving
- Previous management/supervisory experience
- Good IT and systems knowledge
