Job Overview
Mitie is looking for a Retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Qualifications & Vetting
- Preferable you hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates. Training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances.
- A full 5‑year checkable employment/education history is required; failure to provide this may lead to withdrawal of offer or termination of employment.
Main Duties
- Deliver industry leading customer service
- Deter violence and public order offences
- Conduct patrols of the store
- Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
- Liaise with the store management teams
- Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships to support the reduction of crime in store
- Wear body‑worn CCTV to increase colleague and customer safety
