Location: Greater London Area, working on projects 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday site hours. Salary will depend on experience.

Argus Fire, launched in 1982, is now part of the Mitie Group. We are the UK’s class‑leading supplier of fire detection and fire protection systems. We design, install and maintain all types of fire extinguishing systems and electronic fire detection and alarm systems for large projects and small standalone products.

The duties would involve:

  • Keeping records of installation progress and monitor against program of works
  • Fabrication and installation of sprinkler pipe work
  • Keep up to date site records, including site diary
  • Read drawings and ensure work is in accordance with Argus Fire designs and quality expectations and procedures
  • Maintain compliance on site with issued and approved method statements and risk assessments
  • Assist with testing and commissioning
  • Supervising and assisting mates and or trainees

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • Knowledge of Construction sites
  • Understanding of Sprinkler installations, with previous experience in Fire Sprinkler Installations
  • Works well in a team
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • SSSTS (Preferred not essential)
  • Sprinkler NVQ Level 2 (Preferred not essential)
