We are looking for an experienced Engineer to work as a member of the Mitie Fire & Security Systems Operations Field service team. The role involves ensuring effective delivery of PPM, reactive calls, and additional small works while complying with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver PPM, reactive calls, and small works in the Fire & Security Systems industry.
- Perform routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs, and installation of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm equipment to meet legislative and qualitative standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in a timely manner.
- Participate in company‑initiated training to keep technical knowledge up to date.
- Adhere to health and safety requirements and attend required training.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a comparable role handling PPM, reactive calls, and small works.
- Experience with service test and inspection to relevant standards/codes, including fault‑finding techniques.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with colleagues.
