Shift Pattern
4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off. Day Shift: 06:00-18:00, Night Shift: 18:00-06:00.
Job Responsibilities
- Performing planned preventative maintenance on gas appliances to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Responding to reactive and emergency service requests for gas appliances and systems, and completing required tasks within contractual timescales.
- Anticipating, diagnosing, and repairing faults in various plant equipment, such as gas boilers, heating plants, pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Ensuring that all documentation related to servicing, maintenance, and repairs is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with the wider engineering and support teams to enhance overall service quality and efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
- Substantial experience in conducting maintenance, testing, and fault-finding on a variety of plant equipment, particularly related to gas appliances and systems.
- Relevant gas qualifications, including COCN1, CCN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CODNCO1, or equivalents.
- A full UK Driving License.
- An in-depth understanding of essential health and safety regulations.
- A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on providing clear, concise, and empathetic feedback to customers.
