Mobile Multiskilled Engineer- Electrical Bias

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven engineer to join our growing Engineering family.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking maintenance and reactive activity to a wide range of Mechanical and Electrical Building services, including equipment such as general lighting, building controls, small power and distribution heating, boilers, pumps and compressed air systems, fan coil and air handling units and other equipment found in commercial/industrial premises.
• Collaborate with the local team to ensure the safe operation and repair of all M&E building services, fabric and equipment on site.
• Participate in department energy saving schemes and promote the understanding and importance of economical energy use, ensuring plant is maintained and operated to optimum efficiency.
• Participate in a rota providing reactive maintenance outside operating hours and possibly hours on weekends/out of hours to complete maintenance activities that cannot be undertaken during client operating hours.

What We Are Looking For

• A proactive engineer who undertakes allocated tasks in a timely and professional manner and can identify and report faults with building services equipment and take relevant steps to resolve.
• Comfortable with and have a strong knowledge of Health & Safety issues and able to report/escalate as required. Able to comply with all relevant legislation and site-specific welfare policies.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical or C&G 2382-1818th Edition BS 7671:2018
• SC clearance is a requirement for this role.

• Planned and Reactive maintenance activities under your control are completed within contract timescales.
• All HSE requirements are undertaken.
• Reports completed and handheld device updates are to a high standard and contain all required information.
